The San Filippo Wine Resort is actually a small hamlet. The main farmhouse, which also comprises a small chapel that is still consecrated, dates to 1672, as proved by various documents that are still conserved in the parish archives of Montalcino.
The villa and the wine-growing estate, recently purchased by the present owner, have been completely renovated. The severity of the classic Tuscan farmhouse has been reinterpreted, without distorting its traditional restraint, to meet the requirements of modern quality lifestyles. The pervading atmosphere of the San Filippo Wine Resort is one of pure relaxation, perfect for restful holidays or even just a week-end. The return to the serene peace of the Estate afterwards will be even more enticing.
The delightful natural landscape of the Val d’Orcia is particularly suitable for walking, trekking and excursions by mountain bike. The nearby spa of Bagno Vignoni offers a variety of health and body care treatments. In the vicinity there are numerous attractive towns that are well worth a visit, including Montalcino, Montepulciano, Monticchiello and Pienza.
Particularly in summer, but also in other periods, there is a wide range of cultural events such as theatre festivals and music festivals of international standing.
Within a just slightly wider radius, guests can also easily reach the most important cities of Tuscany – Siena, Florence and Arezzo – as well as places of major tourist appeal such as San Gimignano and Chianti. And if this is not enough, just a little further southwards lies the beautiful and wild coastal region of the Maremma.
The accommodation of the San Filippo Wine Resort comprises Villa San Filippo and two flats, Le Coste and Sant’Antimo.
They all feature independent entrances, fully-equipped kitchens, living rooms with satellite TV and areas for repose and for enjoying the local cuisine.
There is also a tasting area, where guests can savour the wines produced and bottled on the estate, as well as a swimming pool and a garden.

Le Coste is the ideal holiday accommodation for a sophisticated couple. Warm and welcoming, all the windows command fine views stretching to the horizon over the vineyards, woods and olive groves.The flat consists of a large living room complete with fireplace, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and jacuzzi, and a kitchen. A spacious terrace overlooks the garden and the swimming pool.
